A drop-in breastfeeding support group with lactation consultant, peer supporters and volunteers is coordinated by the Trust. 

In days gone by, women gathered around the village well sharing knowledge, seeking support and socialising.

Families today still need the support of the village.

 

At the Wanaka Well community volunteers make sure everyone gets a cuppa. 

Peer support volunteers offer a non judgemental listening ear and mother to mother support with every day breastfeeding and parenting matters.

A Lactation Consultant is available to provide expert help for more challenging or persistent breastfeeding issues.
